Privacy Policy

The app collects no personal information. We do not obtain your name, email address, location, contacts, or device identifiers.

There is no analytics tooling, advertising SDK, or crash-reporting service built into the app.

Files the app reads (CBZ, CBR, EPUB, PDF, MOBI and so on) are processed entirely on your own Mac. They are never sent to our servers or to any third party.

Library ordering, bookmarks, reading positions and other settings are stored only on your device.

In the Android app, books are processed only on your device. For books in cloud storage (such as Google Drive), the storage provider’s app fetches the book to the device, and the app then reads it on the device.

If you have Android backup turned on, the Android app’s settings and records (the location and name of folders added to the library, information identifying where opened books are, the reading position for each book, library cover images and so on) are included in your Google account’s backup by the operating system. This lets your reading positions carry over to a new device; we never receive this content.

Subscriptions are handled through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment and manages the subscription; we never receive your card number or other payment details.

The Android beta has no in-app purchases.

The app holds the network client entitlement because macOS WebKit is used to render EPUB content. No code in the app transmits your data to servers we operate.

If a book references external resources, displaying it may cause network requests to those resources.

The Android app does not hold the internet permission and does not communicate over the network itself. The backup described above is carried out by the operating system as an Android feature.

Because we collect nothing, there is no personal information to share.

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. It collects no information from any user.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page. Material changes will also be announced in the app or on our website.
